Cambium Recorder

Tristan Henderson

Preis Free
Version 1.0
Release 2026-08-12
a voice recorder for people who think in layers with most recording apps you get flat list of files with useless naming schemes and maybe a folder system. cambium works more like the way i organize things in my head. color-coded spaces for certain types of work, notes inside those spaces representing a project, and timelines of takes inside each note that are iterations of that project. underneath the organization is a good set of listening tools for different purposes: music (chord recognition, lyrics, voicings for piano and guitar), field recordings (spectrogram, sound board, automated sound classification), note taking (transcribing, bookmarks, export), and more in the future probably there is no account setup, no cloud, and no analytics. no network requests at all. chord, key, tempo, and sound analysis all run on your device. your recordings, notes, and transcripts stay with you, and location tagging is always optional.
