Whether you're checking a bounce away from the studio or keeping an eye on your
Mac's meters while you mix, LOUDMETER brings broadcast-grade loudness to your
iPhone or iPad.
There are two ways to use it.
FILE: ANALYZE ANY TRACK
Open or drop an audio file (MP3, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, M4A) and get the full reading:
• Integrated LUFS, plus Short-Term and Momentary maxima
• True Peak (dBTP) with an over count
• LRA (Loudness Range) and PLR (Peak to Loudness Ratio)
• Stereo correlation across the whole track, with a loudness timeline
• Targets for where it's headed: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Netflix, EBU R128
Everything runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
LIVE: MIRROR YOUR MAC OVER Wi-Fi
Running LOUDMETER on a Mac on the same Wi-Fi? Connect and watch its live readings
on your phone or tablet, the second screen you reach for while you mix or master.
It works over your local network only (Bonjour). No audio is sent, just the live
meter numbers. Tap to reset the Mac's meters from across the room.
BUILT ON THE STANDARD
ITU-R BS.1770-4 / EBU R128, calibrated against reference hardware meters.
K-weighting is derived for each file's exact sample rate, so a 96 kHz master
reads as accurately as a 44.1 kHz one.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. Files stay on your device. Live readings
travel only across your local Wi-Fi.
