WaveInLoops is a focused audio looper for musicians who want reliable loops and hands-free control. Loop your files Import audio files (including MP3, WAV, and M4A where supported) into slots. Playback loops the whole file smoothly so you can jam over stems, drones, clicks, or full mixes. Songs and layers Organize material into tracks (songs) with multiple wave slots per song. Name songs, switch slots, and see loop position, elapsed time, and total duration while you play. Transitions Use Stop to finish at the end of the current loop, or Instant Stop to cut immediately. Next arms a switch to your chosen “next wave” at the loop boundary; Instant Next jumps right away when a next target is set. MIDI Control Change Open Settings to assign a shared MIDI channel and CC numbers for start, stop, instant stop, next, instant next, next song, previous song, and more. Each song can have its own start CC; each slot can have its own start CC. The app flags duplicate or out-of-range mappings so setups stay predictable. Looks and comfort Choose a dark or light theme. The display can stay awake during playback with sensible idle behavior so long sessions stay readable. Backup your setup Export your songs, slots, and MIDI mapping to a JSON file, and import it again on the same device or another (audio files are re-linked from paths you provide on import). Pro removes periodic brief playback interruptions that occur on the free tier so loops stay uninterrupted for performance and long practice.
